The facility, in partnership with Seferihisar Municipality, cultivates genetically intact, original black wheat in its 27-decare specially allocated field and turns it into buckwheat bread at harvest time.
The income from these breads, which are offered for sale in the Sığacık market, which has received the title of Turkey's first CittaSlow "slow city", supports maintenance and aid efforts in the region and also contributes to tourism destination marketing.
